BEHEN DIRECTOR Michigan's August Unemployment Rate Continues Downward Trend State Rate Matches U.S. For Second Consecutive Month Lansing - Michigan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in August moved downward over the month by two-tenths of a percentage point to 5.1 percent, according to data released today by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB).
