U.S. stocks moved higher in morning trading Tuesday, rebounding from a sluggish start. Several big retailers turned in better results. Investors also weighed new economic data on inflation, manufacturing and homebuilding. Health care stocks were among the biggest gainers. KEEPING SCORE: The Dow Jones industrial average rose 101 points, or 0.6 percent, to 17,582 as of 11:36 a.m. Eastern Time. The Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 11 points, or 0.6 percent, to 2,064.
