(Source: Bank of Israel) Background conditions Inflation data: The Consumer Price Index for October increased by 0.1 percent, while forecasters had projected a decline of 0.1 percent, on average. There was a marked increase in the fruit and vegetables component (5 percent), and a seasonal increase in the clothing and footwear component (3.2 percent), while there were declines of 1 percent in transport and communications and of 0.8 percent in home maintenance.
